Set Up Billing and Add Credits

Cloud models require an LM Studio account with available credits. Local and LM Link models do not use Bionic cloud credits, and can be used without an LM Studio account.

Sign in

1. Open Settings.
2. Under General, find Account.
3. Select Sign in and finish signing in through your browser.
4. Return to Bionic.

Add credits for personal use

1. In Settings under Account, select Manage plan.
2. You'll be redirected to your account on the LM Studio Hub. Navigate to Cloud Inference under Features to add more credits to your account.
3. Complete checkout and ensure the new amount is reflected under Available Balance.
4. Return to Bionic and open Billing and Usage. Refresh to ensure the new balance is reflected.

Under Billing account, choose Personal to charge cloud model use to your personal balance.

Use an organization billing account

If your account is eligible to use an organization, it appears under Billing account as @organization.

1. Open Settings → Billing and Usage.
2. Open Billing account.
3. Select the organization.

Future cloud requests use the selected billing account. Only organizations available to your signed-in account are listed.
