The default workspace is generated from the current user's home folder:

• Windows: C:/Users/<username>/Documents/LMStudioWorkspace
• macOS: /Users/<username>/Documents/LMStudioWorkspace
• Linux: /home/<username>/Documents/LMStudioWorkspace

The plugin creates the workspace root automatically. Users can change it in the right sidebar.

Install from LM Studio Hub

After this plugin is published, open its Hub page and choose Run in LM Studio.

CLI alternative:

Restart LM Studio, enable spotticus/chatgpt-agent-tools in the Tools panel, and review the sidebar permissions before use.

All configuration is handled inside LM Studio. No settings.json is required.

• Python executable, timeout, blocked imports, and blocked patterns

List fields use one item per line.

Security notes

• Review permissions before enabling the plugin on a new computer.
• Command mode defaults to readOnly.
• File overwrite and delete are disabled by default.
• Network and package-install commands are disabled by default.
• Python filtering is a safety gate, not a true security sandbox.
• Never publish API keys, tokens, passwords, or private credentials.
