The whole of this fork, original code and modifications alike, is distributed under the Context Compressor Community License 1.0 in LICENSE, unchanged. Selling it, or using it in a paid product or service, needs a commercial license from RootMonsteR as that license describes.

What this fork changes

Chat titles. LM Studio leaves naming a chat to the plugin that runs the reply loop, so chats stayed untitled while context-compressor was on. The plugin now names each new chat after its first reply, with a fallback to the first message when the model's title cannot be used (src/naming.ts).
A plain notice when the tool-output budget is spent. When the per-reply budget for tool output ran out, tools returned results that models took as a failure to retry. They now say plainly that the budget is spent and that the model should answer with what it has (src/toolWrap.ts).
The note after each pass quotes the user's request. Between passes the plugin added "Continue the task from where you left off. If it is already complete, summarize the final result." Models read "the task" as more than was asked and ran ahead, or wrapped up with unrequested summaries. The note now quotes the user's last message and says to stop once it is answered (src/continuation.ts).
Summaries keep each claim's conditions. Summaries kept a claim's headline and dropped what it applied to (for example, "fits on one GPU" without "an 80 GB one"). The summarizer is now told to keep each claim's conditions and never to make a claim broader (src/summarizer.ts).
No reply is answered twice. A pass could end on the round in which the model gave its answer, after which the plugin resumed the reply and the model answered again. Only a round that called tools can end a pass now (src/passCap.ts, src/handler.ts).
A privacy check for releases (privacy-check.js), which is not part of the plugin.

Each change has its own commit in the fork's history, with the original import as the first commit.
